Kammera Green Acres (KG Acres) is an agribusiness investment registered in Malawi by Malawi Government for the purpose of farming, food processing and Marketing of farm produce (Registration of business Act number 12 of 2012). KG Acres owns a number of small sized farms in Katerela and Chagunda areas of Salima District. Specializing in piggery, the farm upholds rigorous standards of ethical livestock care and delivers premium pork products and piglets to meet market demands.
Additionally, Kammera Green Acres Farm boasts thriving maize and Groundnuts cultivation, ensuring a sustainable source of feed for its livestock and contributing to local food security. Moreover, the farm actively engages in forest production, championing reforestation efforts and sustainable forestry practices to preserve the natural ecosystem. We provide both full time and seasonal labor to cummunities sorrounding our farms where majority of our beneficiaries are women

Education
We accept students from various farming institutions to come and do their internership after a rigorus goverment process. Other Organisations host workshops and farm tours to teach the community about sustainable agriculture and the importance of supporting local food systems.

Donations
We also grow maize, groundnuts and Soya beans. A portion of our profits are donated to local food banks and vurnelable groups like single parents and child headed household.
We allow the community especially the youth clubs and women groups practice bee farming in our forests hence empoerwing the sorounding communities economically

We collaborate with chefs, artisans, Agricultural extension workers, Bee farmers, sorounding community based (CBO) organisations and other small businesses to promote the vibrant food culture in Salima and sorrounding area.
